Vion Apeldoorn
The Apeldoorn site is a state-of-the-art production location meeting the latest insights and standards. Every week, some 25,000 pigs are slaughtered here, half of which are processed into hams, front-ends and middles. The other half is boned into customised cuts for various national and international customers. To supply Japan – which has specific requirements for processes and products – a separate production line has been established. The products are also packaged for our Asian customers. Vion Apeldoorn has some 530 employees, including flex workers.
