Johan van der Hel is Group HR Director at VION N.V. and works at the VION head office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Together with his team, and with VION’s HR professionals across the business, he determines VION's international, long-term, HR policy.

How would you describe VION's work culture?

VION is a multinational company with one strategy, but whose individual business units can operate autonomously. The company is marked by its flat organisation and fast decision-making structures. We have little bureaucracy. The working atmosphere on our sites is open and pleasant. Teams also often organise various local activities to show their commitment to the local communities.
